What We Do for Villa Guests
When you buy fish for a BBQ or villa dinner, we clean it completely — gutted, scaled, fins trimmed — so you arrive with fish that goes straight onto the grill. No equipment needed, no mess, no smell in the villa kitchen. Just fresh Ionian fish, ready to cook.
There's no extra charge for cleaning. It's part of buying fish from us.
Best Fish for a Villa BBQ in Saranda
- Sea Bream (Koç / Orata): The classic. Whole on the grill, skin crisps beautifully, flesh stays moist. Buy one per person. 300–400g each is the ideal size.
- Sardines: Best value. Grill whole, eat immediately. A kilo for 3–4 people costs less than a coffee at the promenade.
- Sea Bass: Slightly larger, meatier. Good if some guests prefer a firmer fish.
- Octopus: Needs advance prep (see our recipe guide) but the most impressive BBQ food in Albania.

Tell us how many people, whether you want whole fish or portions, and if you want everything BBQ-ready. For larger groups (10+ people), calling ahead is strongly recommended so we can hold the right fish for you.

Picking Up Fish on the Way to Ksamil or Butrint
Many guests rent villas in Ksamil, 15km south of Saranda. We're on the main road south — stop in on the way down, get the fish, and it's at the villa within 20 minutes. Packed in ice if needed.
